Scrappy Coin Block

Cut multiple scrappy strips 7” long and any width from 1 ½” up to 2 ½”

Sort with attention to infant, small child (boy or girl) and teen/adult (man or woman).  Many of your strips will work for all.

Sew coin block until 7” x 13”

Block will be trimmed to 6 ½” x 12 ½” so be sure to have strips on each end wide enough to be not only trimmed, but wide enough to add sashing on each end.

You can trim or deliver back to Community Service and they will be trimmed at the block party.

Infant 6 blocks (3 across, 2 down) Small Child 12 blocks (4 across, 3 down)

Teen/Adult 24 blocks (6 across, 4 down). All sizes 2 ½” sashing, 5” borders
